About Writers Studio
Writers Studio is a native macOS application for fiction writers that combines a rich text editor, AI-assisted worldbuilding, continuity checking, and 8-format export in a single tool. Built with SwiftUI and SwiftData — no Electron, no web wrappers.
The app supports four AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and local Ollama) and is the first fiction writing app to offer AI entity extraction, where the AI reads a manuscript and proposes structured character profiles, location entries, and timeline events for the writer to review and accept.

About the Developer
Writers Studio is built by LiteStep, an indie software studio focused on native Apple platform apps, Shopify themes, and open-source tools. The app was developed as a solo project over 18 months, driven by the developer's own frustration with continuity tracking in long-form fiction.
